Night of the Museums : Humanist Library

The Humanist Library invites you to discover its exhibitions free of charge, and takes you to the heart of its history during the Second World War.

On the programme:

  • 6pm to 10pm: orizuru workshop. Learn how to make origami cranes, a symbol of universal peace
  • 8.30pm and 9pm: a dramatised tour of the temporary exhibition by students from the theatre workshop at the Lycée Koeberlé in Sélestat. "What do you do when the noise of the world is so deafening that it prevents some of your fellow human beings not only from expressing themselves but also from thinking? Written and directed by Frédéric Liénard of the Cie la Caravane des Illuminés avertisés
  • 6pm and 7pm: guided tour of the temporary exhibition 1939-1945, A Library in the Storm. Duration: 30 minutes
  • 6.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm, 8pm and 9pm: guinguette atmosphere, songs from the 40s. With Mélanie Decq and Valentine Graff from Cie Papier Plum' wandering around the library
  • 6pm to 10pm: free access to exhibitions and events
